angie’s teaching philosophy
I strive to inspire curiosity in my students. My easy-going teaching style incorporates the student's previous knowledge and strengths, which facilitates learning at each student's individual level. I incorporate teaching strategies that help my students become independent learners. While I encourage my students to recognize that hard work pays off, it is important to me that I remember why students come to me in the first place - music is fun!

Many of my students have been accepted by audition for honor programs, music intensive workshops and collegiate music programs, and have received awards and recognition at music festivals. Through music study, my students gain confidence in their abilities to more effectively participate in school music programs, original and cover bands and other music endeavors. location & tuition
Lessons are held at my home studio, located near Fort Worden in Port Townsend, WA.
Half-hour lessons are $40, one-hour lessons are $80. I kindly request payment of 4 lessons in advance to reserve our regular lesson day/time. Ask about lesson tuition scholarships.
