Angie is an independent musician based in Port Townsend, Washington. While earning both Bachelor's (CSU, Long Beach) and Master's (U. of Northern Colorado, Greeley) degrees, they honed drum set skills, supplemented with classical and world percussion. This training, combined with many years of playing professionally, molded them into the in-demand freelance musician they are today.

Angie worked for nearly two decades as a professional musician in Southern California, performing and recording with original artists, tribute bands, casual acts; accompanying choral groups and performing as a pit musician for musicals. At Norco College, they taught History of Rock and Roll, Music Appreciation, Applied Lessons and directed the Commercial Music Ensemble. They even worked on a movie set, composing an original composition for a scene in the movie, coaching the actress who "drum synced" to the piece, and acting as a hand double for close-up shots.

Angie has toured throughout the US, Europe and Asia with a variety of musical acts ranging from jazz to pop, and rock to Broadway. They are known for being an incredibly versatile and adaptable musician, at home with a wide variety of musical styles and situations.

Angie is excited to be a part of a unique, new jazz project based in Port Townsend. Unique from anything else happening in the area, Intensive Porpoises features Angie Tabor on drums, Lucien LaMotte on Guitar & Paul Geoghan on basses.
